Product Description

The Drive in Drive thru Racking System is a high density storage solution that maximizes available space and height in the warehouse by reducing the forklift operating aisles.

This compact racking system can be configured in two ways:

Drive-in Racking: Uses a single access aisle. Following the LIFO (Last In, First Out) method.
Drive-thru Racking: Features an entrance and exit on both sides. Following the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.

It is the optimal system when you need to store homogeneous products with a large number of pallets of the same reference. Space utilization is prioritized over selectivity.

Detailed Operations

Placing & Retrieving Pallets

Placing a pallet:
1. Square forklift with bay opening.
2. Lift pallet 20mm above rails.
3. Drive in slowly and lower pallet.
4. Back away carefully.

Retrieving a pallet:
1. Square forklift at correct height.
2. Secure pallet and lift 20mm.
3. Drive out slowly and completely.
4. Turn carefully in the aisle.

It is ideal for inventory with fewer categories but large quantities for each category, where high-density storage is required.

What is the difference between Drive-in and Drive-thru?

Drive-in racking uses one access aisle (LIFO), while Drive-thru racking has access from both sides (FIFO), suitable for higher turnover products.

What kind of pallets can be used in this system?

Pallets with double faces or three runners bases are recommended. Single-faced, 9-feet, or plate-based pallets are generally prohibited.
